“So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.”
Romans 1:15
How descriptive the main verse is of Paul’s desire to share the goodnews- not just to unbelievers, but to believers also; after all, he was talking to the churches in Rome.
He must have been fully convinced of the potentials of the gospel to change a man’s state and subsequently save his life, he had said:
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10
He was convinced that believing the gospel would catapult a man into a righteous state and declaring the Lordship of Jesus would save a man’s soul.
No wonder, he was eager to share the goodnews.
The gospel is good news; something has happened, that is good, that when people hear would save their lives. We must always be ready to tell it.
