“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.”
1 John 3:14
Don’t be surprised if the world hates you, instead be concerned if they are not convicted by your light and speak well of you without any discernible change:
“Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.” Luke 6:26
There should be something separate about your life even as you minister to others the word that would impart faith into their spirits and translate them from darkness to light, causing them to be children of light:
“That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;” Philippians 2:15
“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” John 3:20
Your life, as a reproof to the decadent life unbelievers exude would cause them to emphasize the blessing and sanctification of God on your life:
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company…” Luke 6:22, see also 1 Peter 4:14.
