“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?” ‭‭John‬ ‭18‬:‭4‬

His resolve to be an expression of all God had spoken through the prophets didn’t just begin at the climax- the garden of Gethsemane, earlier he had been praying and the Bible tells us in his prayer he was told about his future: Luke 9:29-31
And because of that he resolved to head into that future, despite lies concerning threat to his life, he remain unfazed: Luke 13:31-33
We know they were lying because Herod was fascinated by and wanted to see him- Luke 9:9, and when he eventually did, he was just disappointed at the lack of miracles or tricks he expected Jesus to perform- Luke 23:8-11
Imagine if Jesus had let the scary news of liars derail him! The Bible says:
“They that observe lying vanities Forsake their own mercy.” ‭‭Jonah‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬
It’s your time to shine, don’t let lying vanities derail you!
