“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?” John 18:4
It is quite amazing that all of the seeming ‘temptations’ Jesus faced to derail him from God’s word were what people would call blessed opportunities.
Right from the wilderness, in Luke 4:5-6, he was offered kingdoms and glory of the world, he could have naturally decided to accept the offer and use that devilish influence to ‘save mankind’.
He even got tempted to be king of a town in Galilee, this could have been a great opportunity to begin to build kingdom influence but he remained resolved in doing God’s things God’s ways and what’s more, he prayed:
“When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.” John 6:15
And you know the blessed opportunities of deliverance he missed at the garden. It’s so important that you consistently fellowship through reading your bible and prayer so you don’t mistake destiny destroyers for solution providers or way makers!
