“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;”
Ephesians 3:8
In Christ, you are an heir of God, a member of his body, fully identified with him and a partaker of his promises, Ephesians 3:6. He tells you:
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature…” 2 Peter 1:4
You have the divine nature now, and this nature has supplanted the human nature and knowing this, you should realize that you are under no obligation to live according to the human nature:
“Consequently, brothers, we are not—with respect to human nature, that is—under an obligation to live according to human nature.” Romans 8:12, ISV
Or be subject to the limitations and rules of this fallen world:
“If you have died with the Messiah to the basic principles of the world, why are you submitting to its decrees as though you still lived in the world? “Don’t handle this! Don’t taste or touch that!” All of these things will be destroyed as they are used, because they are based on human commands and teachings. These things have the appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion, humility, and harsh treatment of the body, but they have no value against self-indulgence.” (Colossians 2:20-23)
