“And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.”
Mark 5:39

Practise responding in righteousness irrespective of the event; if you receive an unexpected report, your immediate response should be righteous. Look at this:
“While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house certain which said, Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.” Mark 5:35-36
Amazingly, Jesus could have vocalized how he understood if Jarius wanted to cry or blame the woman with the issue of blood for delaying them, but understanding a situation should not always equate responding according to your five senses, your response should always be righteous. He told Jairus not to fear, he controlled his response because it can never get too bad or too late with God.
Adam disobeyed God and he had a story to tell:
“And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.” Genesis 3:10
God didn’t vocalize how he understood that Adam, using his five senses and realizing he was naked had every reason to hide in fear, instead he asked:
“…Who told thee that thou wast naked?…” Genesis 3:11
He expected Adam to respond to situations in righteousness despite what he observed with his five senses, yes, he was naked but God expected him to act according to what God told him not according to what he saw.
Consistently, God wants you to train yourself to respond on accordance with his word not because of what you see, smell, hear, taste or feel; your emotions and feelings are not God, they shouldn’t lead you.
