“And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.”
Mark 5:39

“The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth”, even in the midst of despair and hopelessness, Jesus boldly vocalized his faith, it is amazing that people get pressured by others to settle and begin to vocalize things that are below their expectation or even worse, antithetical to their faith.
Declare what you expect, irrespective of who’s saying or acting otherwise- anything is possible.
The bible tells us that Israel was in a dire situation, it got so bad that women were eating babies:
“…And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow. So we boiled my son, and did eat him…” 2 Kings 6:28-29
But a prophet of God prophesied that the situation would change in twenty four hours, his statement was met with some opposition and mockery:
“Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be?…” 2 Kings 7:2
Just like Jesus was faced with astounding mockery:
“And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.” Luke 8:53
So if you are mocked for vocalizing your faith, you are in good company.
The situation of Israel did change in twenty four hours because what man considers great, is a light thing for God:
“And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:” 2 Kings 7:18
Fear not! Vocalize your faith and respond in righteousness!
