“And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.”
Mark 5:39
It matters how you respond in the face of challenges, and that’s why you have to do the word at all times and this begins by getting the word of God inside you. Jesus said the word is a seed; an investment in your life expected to produce results in different measures:
“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.” Matthew 13:23
It means the word of God is working inside of you and is residual in you akin to potential energy, when required, it will manifest and produce the expected results. No wonder Jesus said:
“…Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.” Mark 4:24
Remember a seed only produces fruits of the same kind, so the responses, manifestations and results you would have in life would be a direct reflection of the words you’ve heard- the seed you’ve sown in your heart:
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23
In the face of daunting challenges, if you’ve listened and received the word of righteousness, your immediate response would be righteous, it would be the right response. The one who is conscious that God will never leave or forsake him, would respond without fear, but with boldness in a threatening situation, it is true what the bible says:
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Galatians 6:7
