“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”

God is interesting in results that remain, in lasting memorials, and so he says:
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” John‬ ‭15‬:‭16‬
You want to do what God has called you to do and finish the work? Get the word of God inside of you, he had already said:
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
John‬ ‭15‬:‭7‬
When you write an exam and you know you wrote the exact answers found in your note or textbook, you would leave the exam hall satisfied even before you see the results. God has given you his word, live your life accordingly, doing what he says- that is the source of satisfaction:
“Then said I, Lo, I come (In the volume of the book it is written of me,) To do thy will, O God.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭7‬
