“Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.”
John 4:34
Jesus said his food was to do the will of the father, and not just to start doing his will but to finish it- this connotes being focused on what God had called him to do and doing it excellently well; no wonder he said:
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”John 9:4
He must! What a strong declaration. This is satisfaction, realizing that you are doing exactly what God fashioned you to do:
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
That is being truly useful to God and living a life without regrets.
