The Bible says:

“…For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬
And here is a vivid example of such works:
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day… When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay… He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.” ‭‭John‬ ‭9‬:‭4‬, ‭6‬-‭7‬
God sent Jesus to heal all that were oppressed of the devil: Acts 10:38
Notice, the man had been blind from birth (John 9:1), and there are people like that- all they have ever known in their life is that they’ve had a certain condition or there’s been a certain pattern they observe in their family. Well, good news- whatever God did not plant has been uprooted: Matthew 15:13.
Jesus came for that purpose, to totally waste and render useless the activities of devils! 2 Timothy 1:10. This alone is enough reason to celebrate and give thanks!
