Jesus came and left us an example, expecting us to walk in his steps:
“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” 1 John 2:6
When he gave us life, he didn’t stop there, he made us life giving spirits (1 Corinthians 15:45,48) enabling us to share in his purpose and just as God sent him to heal all that were oppressed of the devil, in the same vein he sent us out: Mark 16:15-18.
No wonder he said:
“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” John 20:21
So there is a purpose for your life, don’t tread the path of dissatisfaction or unnecessary confusion by wasting time searching for some oblique purpose, share in his purpose after all, you are joint heirs:
“and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.” Romans 8:17
