“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:18

Because you live in a body and in a world whose god is forever rebellious against God and his word:
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…” 2 Corinthians 4:4
It should be no surprise to you when things happen that tend to question what God has said in his word concerning you, your situation, family, finances, future etc.
It’s the same old serpent-the devil, true to form, he reveals himself by consistently questioning what God has said in other to instill doubt and unbelief in the hearts of men and sway them away from God’s best, he did it in the garden with Eve:
“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” Genesis 3:1
And tried the same with Jesus after God already made clear he was his son in Luke 3:22.
“And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.” Luke 4:3
But like Jesus, the lord you serve, worship and follow- resist him and insist on God’s word:
“And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall… live… by every word of God.” Luke 4:4
