“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
2 Timothy 3:12

Jesus was mocked and persecuted because of his faith declarations; declarations concerning a situation:
“And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn…” Mark 5:39-40
declarations about his origin:
“Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.” John 5:18
So it should come as no surprise to you if you are mocked and/or persecuted because of what you say about who you are in Christ, and about your assured victory irrespective of the situation:
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
All of these are loudly declared by God concerning you, and his witness in his word and on your lips is all that matters, it was all that mattered to Jesus:
“It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.” John 8:17-18
So don’t be intimidated, shine, speak boldly, you are the righteous one!
“…yea, let God be true, but every man a liar…” Romans 3:4
