“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
2 Timothy 3:12

There’s a promise of persecution for every one who forsakes all and follows Jesus, Jesus himself said so:
“…Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, (everything) with persecutions…” Mark 10:29-30
When you’re persecuted, it’s a sign that the glory of God is visible in your life:
“If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.” 1 Peter 4:14
Jesus said:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
And we see that letting your light shine might spur different responses, but all will give glory to God because the Spirit of glory rests on you, some response would be a change of heart and response to your message:
“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Acts 2:37
Others might be antagonistic:
“When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.” Acts 7:54
Irrespective, your life is no longer your own, you now live for Jesus and if people are against the expressions of his life in you via your walk and talk of faith, do what the word says- rejoice, it’s all glory!
