“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”
2 Timothy 3:12

It is something to be grateful for when the word of God preinforms you of a situation, it means there’s an end game and you’d come out victorious, just like Jesus told his disciples of the events that would take place in Jerusalem, and he was fully aware that he will win:
“For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.” Mark 9:31
No wonder he tells us:
“Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy…” Luke 6:22-23
He says leap for joy, in other words, jump in excitement. Be excited when you’re persecuted for the things you say and you do in the name of Jesus. So you boast about who you are in Christ and the fact that God is always with you irrespective of the circumstance? Awesome! Jesus did the same also:
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” John 5:17″And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.” John 8:29
So some people get angry about it and even mock you? Still awesome, they did the same to Jesus:
“Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he… said also that God was his Father…” John 5:18
Some grown men were beating one day in public, but because they were beating for Jesus, their response is worth every emulation: “And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.” Acts 5:41
