The Prophet Isaiah foretold the birth of Jesus and spoke of him being called Emmanuel which means “God with us”, not as a name but as a description of what his birth meant; the birth of Jesus was a testament that God was now with them, for everyone who is born again, God is now not only with us, he is in us, wherever we go, he goes, when we are with unbelievers, God is with them, we also have become Emmanuels, the continuation of the fulfillment of the same prophecy Jesus fulfilled while he was on the earth.
