“He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.”
Acts 24:26

The Bible tells us:
“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” 2 Corinthians 5:7
He didn’t say we walk by faith AND sometimes by sight; because Jesus already made clear that decisions made because of your physical senses would not profit:
“…the flesh profiteth nothing…” John 6:63
On the contrary, they would be a complete waste of time and even turn out destructive:
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh… For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace… So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:5-8
See Eve:
“And when the woman SAW that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she TOOK of the fruit thereof, and did eat…” Genesis 3:6
And so God’s word must be the compelling force behind every decision you make, see God’s fervent question concerning your decisions:
“Who told thee..?” Genesis 3:11
It might seem like common sense, the obvious option etc., but if-with all of that- it still isn’t the word, then don’t budge.
