“that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;”
Philippians 2:15
Contemplate on the fact that Noah lived in a world where men lived to be hundreds of years, this means there were people who far surpassed him in the number of years they had spent on the earth, they had enough ‘experience’ capital to intimidate him into conformity, but he didn’t conform!
Infact the Bible says:
“By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet…” Hebrews 11:7
He was talking to people who had lived hundreds of years ahead of him of things not seen as yet! That would have been enough material for them to despise, mock and ridicule him, but yet he still shone in the dark world and saved himself and his family. Never be intimidated by the size or age of any man:
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers…” 1 Timothy 4:12
Keep walking in righteousness, preaching the same and shining as light in this dark world.
