“Princes also did sit and speak against me: But thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.” Psalm‬ ‭119‬:‭23‬
There are people that face some form of opposition and they consult with everybody and every web page but the word of God- don’t be like them! David said princes- rulers and royalty, sat to plot and speak against him but he went back to the word of God, to meditate:
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭3‬
Oh such wisdom! It didn’t matter who was plotting against him, they were not a factor in his prosperity. [Psalms 119:92] His prosperity wasn’t tied to ‘highly placed connections’ but to the word that would never change or fail. Hallelujah! See the kind of easy, prosperous and victorious life you’ve been called to live- totally alienated from the persuasions, indecisions, appraisals or mood swings of men. [Psalms 119:78,95]
