“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”  
1John 1:7

God dwells in the light of himself; he sees things through himself- he really is God!
Such an awesome reality that he has made our reality.
The word of God is God, the word of God is light!
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… That was the true Light…”  John 1:1,9
This means we have this confidence that God would never make a decision or have an opinion that is contrary to his word!
When we walk in the light of his word concerning our lives; we are fully assured of walking in righteousness; we would always be right.
Another remarkable thing we notice from the main verse is that he wants to have fellowship with us.
God thinks you are good enough to understand his thoughts, to see just like him. He calls you his favorite:
“But ye are a chosen (eklektos: favorite) generation…”  1Peter 2:9
It is no surprise, he had no problem calling Abraham his friend, and according to the word of God, a friend is someone who knows everything about you:
“…but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”  John 15:15
Then concerning you, he went deeper than that, he is not just the friend that walks by your side, he has become the father that lives in you; living his life through you. Your fellowship transcends sitting at opposite tables, it is now, living in oneness.
“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us…”  John 17:21
