“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”
2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬

Grace in its most basic explanation is ‘unmerited favor’, that means receiving favor, a reward that you did not work for or could ever have gotten via your own effort, Romans 4:4.
And he tells us that is what God gives, he gives grace and in response to your giving to him and his purposes, he is able to make all of that unmerited favor and reward abound towards you. This means, increasingly, you would enjoy what you could not have gotten by your own effort from every angle! And didn’t we see this grace manifest; when instead of rewarding Peter for giving his boat to him with money, he gave him a catch that Peter- in his life- could not have ever gotten via his own effort. (Luke 5:1-7)
See how all the fishes abounded towards Peter’s net, that’s such a mild expression of what he says God can do for the one who gives to him- cheerfully!
