“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”
2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬

God wants you to give cheerfully and it is no surprise when you realize that your giving is for your own benefit- your giving would place you in a perfect condition of life, your giving would elevate you, your giving would drop on your lap your divine inheritance- you should give with gusto and joy not grudgingly as though you are losing out by giving to him or of necessity, as though there is no promise for you.
Give in faith because the word admonishes you to, give in hope, knowing what God has promised you, give as a proof of your love:
“Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love…” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭8‬:‭24‬
In giving, you embrace for yourself eternal and unfailing virtues: 1 Corinthians 13:13.
