“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:”
2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬

God wants you to always have for every good work, and he uses a stronger term ‘abound’; he wants that increasingly, you’d always be able to meet the demands, to the overflow, of every work for his purposes.
So, to position yourself where you’d always have to give to his purposes, you have to begin giving to his purposes with whatever he has made available to you to start with. Jesus said:
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭16‬:‭10‬
He looks at what you do with least to determine what you’d do with much! So his hand is not shortened that he cannot give you much, but what’s more important to him is what you do with what you and others might consider least (absolutely too small)!
