“But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”

The Bible says:
“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.” Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭24‬-‭25‬
Meaning true to your new nature in Christ, the affections and desires of the flesh should not move you, and because that’s true, remain in righteousness.
A man who’s uninterested, unpersuaded by a football match would remain indoors when the match is going on outside- true to form.
Same with you, put on Jesus and remain in the light, those in the dark revel therein and are drunken, but you are not of the night but of the day:
“Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness”
‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭5‬
So go ahead and walk in the Spirit and that simply means finding what God has said in his word, how he expects you to respond and doing accordingly.
