“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,”
Titus 2:11
He continues:
“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” Titus 2:12
The grace of God teaches us to be sober, to walk righteously, he had said:
“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)” Romans 5:17
In reigning in life, he expects that you reign over sin and lusts:
“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans 6:14
Reign over the world and its temptations:
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.” 1 John 4:4-5
Reign over satan, easily.
Because you reign in life, you are expected to live righteously- live as one who is at peace with God and walk in Jesus’ most exemplary steps:
“Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:” 1 Peter 2:22
