“And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:”

There is a life of glory that God has called you to. A life of glory and excellence, just for you!
“…him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” 2Peter 1:3
“That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.” 1Thessalonians 2:12
“Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2Thessalonians 2:14
“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus…” 1Peter 5:10
“Moreover whom he …he called, …them he also glorified.” Romans 8:30
In living that life, it matters what you focus on. The word sets your heart on what you should focus:
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2Corinthians 4:18
With advancement in technology and knowledge, every-thing you see today would eventually became obsolete- modified or changed entirely, but your prosperity will never cease, of your increase and glory there shall be no end. Your divine health and life are a surety forever, your progress and excellence are unstoppable. All of these awesome things cannot be seen in three dimensions but they have been given you by the word of God and the good news is nothing is strong enough to cause them to fade! Irrespective of the times and seasons, focus on them!
