“For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:”
1Peter 3:10

The main verse from The Passion Translation:
“Whoever wants to embrace true life and find beauty in each day must stop speaking… eagerly pursue peace in every relationship, making it your prize.” 1 Peter 3:10-11

Today is beautiful and tomorrow would be beautiful also, it isn’t dependent on any other factor or person but you; what you say primarily.
He says eagerly pursue peace in every relationship, making it your prize.
He tells us why your words and actions would influence your life and your day:
“For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.”  1Peter 3:12
God’s eyes are over you; even now, as you are reading this article, and his ears are open to your prayers- every time! His ears are open to your words, he hears what you say every single time and your consciousness of this would determine how you respond in life. Jesus was conscious of this:
“…And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.”  John 11:41
What did he say?:
“Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?”  John 11:40
“When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.”  John 11:4
If you speak evil, firstly, you would have what you say, secondly you’re setting yourself at the lesser end of life because he already told us:
“but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil”
Jesus said:
“…That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.”  Luke 6:5
You should be the Lord, the King over today and all your days- speak right! Win!
