“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Matthew 16:18

God’s material for building you up is his word:
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up…” Acts 20:32
Hearing and doing the word is the only assurance you have of victory when the challenges of life come. All those who stick to the word like these guys:
“But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” Luke 8:15
And refuse to be offended like these guys;
“Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.” Matthew 13:21
Even after Jesus warned offenses would come; Luke 17:1- would live buoyant, victorious and productive lives.
Challenges come in different forms- health, financial, emotional, human etc, the beautiful thing is he assures us, hearing and doing the word would ensure our victory irrespective of the multiplicity or diversity of challenges.
