The word of God is God and when the word remains in you; he influences your desires and actions:
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
He uproots strong holds and casts down imaginations that are antithetical to God’s purpose and vision for your life.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
The word of God is alive and everything concerning you is exposed and laid bare before him, your spirit, soul, joints and marrow; all are visible to the word of God, this means when you let the word of God remian in you, he is working in you, influencing your mind, thoughts, desires, body, bones- every part of you is influenced by the word of God.
He tells us:
“My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” Proverbs 4:20-22
The word of God infuses life to your being. Diagnosed with a problem? Get life inside of you: put the word inside and because the word is light, every darkness- symptom and confusion- will disappear.
