The Spirit of God has declared the year 2020 to be our year of laughter through our Pastor!Detailing the year to be a year of ease for every one of us- all of our efforts would produce results! Pastor explained the significance of the word “laughter” in two parts:
1. How it was the sign that God’s promise to Abraham that Sarah would give him a son was fulfilled despite the challenges of time and barrenness- and how that meant that all that we had anticipated in previous years was set to be fulfilled with ease in this year of laughter! Genesis 21:1-6. Emphasizing through Revelations 3:8 “I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name” how our previous works of faith and faithfulness had been known by the Lord and 2020 was our set time for fulfillment!
2. Laughter also, should be our response to seemingly challenging situations just like it was God’s response when he was being plotted against: Psalms 2:2-4. Laughter is not expressed based on feelings but in faith- knowing that the challenge is small and funny compared to God’s awesome might!

Nine people responded to the altar call made by Pastor and were ushered into God’s kingdom as his beloved children!
What a year! We are set on course this new year!! Glory!!!
