“For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”
Romans 8:19

The story of Zacchaeus is so inspiring, he was a rich man but was small in stature who just wanted to get a glimpse of Jesus as he passed by.
He was a chief among the publicans and every publican was termed a traitor and a sinner by the Jews, so obviously he was ostracized from the righteous Jewish community.
When Jesus had called Matthew and was in his house, his friends that came to hear from Jesus were not the Pharisees or the scribes but fellow Publicans. It seemed like they kept their own company- men who were rich, but disliked, considered traitors on the fast lane to hades, but Zaccheaus wanted to just see this Jesus.
There are people like that today; seemingly rich, accomplished, and possible deemed arrogant, but they want to see Jesus- they are waiting for you!
Jesus, so kind and wonderful:
“…he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.”  Luke 19:5
And look at how quick and willing this publican was to change and start anew:
“And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.”  Luke 19:8
Earlier on, a rich young ruler couldn’t imagine giving away all he had to follow Jesus, but this publican made the decision unforced, because finally he had what he always wanted; the one he just wanted to catch a glimpse of was right there in his house.
There are many people who just want to ‘maybe by chance’ know what Christianity is really all about, but you’d go and let them receive Jesus in the house of their hearts.
They’re waiting for you!
