“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:”
2 Peter 1:3

God has called you!
“Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2Thessalonians 2:14
He called you by the gospel- when you heard the mes-sage and decided to make Jesus the lord of your life, you answered his call.
“Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” Romans 8:30
He called you according to his predestination. He had a destiny for you, how he wanted your life to end up- the destination of your life and your journey on the earth had been planned by God, and based on that divine plan, he called you through the gospel. When you answered, you said yes to living in the fullness of his plan for your life! Congratulations!!
With the call, he justified you and then glorified you as emphasized by the main verse: “called us to glory…”
This means God’s divine plan for your life is that you live a life of glory and not of shame, no wonder he said:
“…for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5
