“According as his divine power hath given unto us all
things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the
knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and vir-
tue:”
2 Peter 1:3
God had a destiny for you- and based on that destiny,
he called you through the gospel to live the glorious life,
a life of virtue, halleluyah!
The main verse gives us a picture of how your life was
planned to be by God, he knew in the world it would
have been impossible for you to live that glorious life, in
the world is the life of uncertainty (one minute up, an-
other minute down, one minute healthy and successful,
another minute sickly and discouraged), and so he sent
his son with a life:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only be-
gotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not
perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Whosoever receives that life has no excuse for uncertainty anymore- he has been called to live the glorious
life:
“Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children
by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in the be-
loved.” Ephesians 1:5-6
This is your portion in life- the Lord.
The Lord knows no sickness, knows no disappointment-
all things are possible with him.
