“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2

Look at these three Hebrew boys, they were pressured to conform to the worldly structure of their day:
“Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?” Daniel 3:14
And they refused:
“Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.” Daniel 3:16
A miracle was wrought but even more, there was a promotion:
“Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.” Daniel 3:30
Same thing happened with Daniel: Daniel 6:7
He refused: Daniel 6:10
A miracle was wrought but even more, he further prospered:
“I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel… So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius…” Daniel 6:26, 28
Why give in to the world that seeks your destruction when you can stand steadfast on God’s word and gain his peace, prosperity and promotion.
