“As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:” 1 Peter 1:14
The word of God tells us:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2
God doesn’t want his will to be a mystery to his children; we were born after and just like Jesus and the Bible says of Jesus:
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person…” Hebrews 1:3
He was and is the expression of God’s will and everything about him was and is the expression of that will and that is God’s desire for us- he calls us his righteousness:
“…that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
This means we are God’s righteousness in our world; if people want to know how things should be done right, how an individual should function (think, talk, act, respond) rightly, they should look at us- our lives show people what God decides is right.
When you got born again, this became your reality, you became God’s righteousness, born to walk in righteousness and that can only be possible when you get to the word, renew your mind and do the word, just like Jesus:
“Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.” Hebrews 10:7
He says by the renewing of your mind you would know the will of God and prove it!
