“As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:”  1 Peter 1:14

The word of God says:
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”  2 Corinthians 6:17
We are not of the world, we have overcome the world- no wise person would fellowship with that which he has overcome; you don’t fellowship, you subdue and rule and that is our calling when it comes to our relations with the world.
You don’t listen to their music, you sing yours and let it dominate the airways, you put out your business and let it subdue- reigning came with the gift of righteousness.
Understand this, anyone who has received the gift of righteousness was ordained to reign in life; not to mingle with the world but to subdue and king!
“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)”  Romans 5:17
Our reigning is important because for too long sin and death has reigned on the earth- people complain that even if they don’t want to, they still do the wrong things, even if they eat healthy, they were still diagnosed with that sickness; all of these happened without their permission as though they were slaves, bent to accept whatever the devil throws at them! That’s why we came- where sin and death reigned, we have been authorized to reign much more: because we are present, righteousness and life reigns!
Seeing your great calling, why belittle yourself and commune or even be subdued by the world and it’s fruits?
