“And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.”  1 John 1:4  

So what are these things written for us that when we read, our joy would be full? 
“…truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.”  1 John 1:3 
This is a big deal! 
He says our fellowship is not with other human beings, dogs, stars and planets in the universe; our fellowship is with the Father! 
You only fellowship with beings of the same class; beings that have the capacity to comprehend the way you comprehend, express their verdicts about a situation the way you do and amazingly beings that have the potential to provide solutions the way you do! He tells us our fellowship is with the Father, meaning we now have a mirror to show us in plain terms our capacity and potential. 
We are not wretched human beings reaching out to an unseen God. 
We are the children of his love, carrying his very life and spirit and able to understand his truth and do his word! Glory to God! 
If God be for you, who can be against you? Nobody dares, you would live life with the confidence that everything would be excellent. Now he says, the same almighty God has brought you into his level (you were born again that way) to see and deal with situations the way he does- truly, nobody can stand against you!
