“But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.”
1 Timothy 5:6

Look at what the Bible says:
“The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.” Proverbs 12:26
Never let the way of unbelievers become too appealing; the glory of men and of this world have one destiny— to pass away; only the word of God endures through the seasons and the worlds, so the Bible tells us:
“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:17
Only those who do God’s word remain FOREVER; not just as a trend; only God’s word and decisions based on God’s word would abide, it brings to mind what the Apostle said here:
“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is… If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” 1 Corinthians 3:13, 15
It means no matter how smart and productive a decision seemed, if it wasn’t borne out of God’s word- it would not last, whoever wrought it would have sadly wasted their time and days on the earth! That should not be you. Set your gaze permanently on the word of God!
