“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
Mark 8:38 KJV
Don’t be ashamed of Jesus, don’t be ashamed of his words- he is one with his words:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
Just as you can easily make it clear that you are a follower of Jesus, also make it clear that you live your life by his words.
In a crooked and sinful world, that might boast in the words of renowned men of old and introduce such words in their conversations and as their conclusions unashamedly, be very confident about the words of Jesus because what’s even more remarkable is that his words would always be right and would always give life:
“The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting…” Psalm 119:144
