“Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
Mark 8:38 KJV
When Jesus comes in the glory of his Father, the Bible tells us:
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” Revelation 1:7
All who had denied him, mocked him and doubted him would regret and weep that they did so and not just that, his coming means something for you:
“when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” 2 Thessalonians 1:10
He would be glorified and admired in you- you that despite the stark opposition declare him everywhere unashamedly! Every title men had given themselves to be occupied with on the earth and come across as important would mean absolutely nothing before his glory! Then all those who had been ashamed of him because of their false estimation of fallen men would wonder if it was worth it!
Not you! Because you are always proudly identified with Jesus!!
