“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:18
In your evangelising as a missionary Christian; you would encounter challenges, persecution and some times ridicule, but have the mindset the word of God gives; they are light afflictions and they should not move you:
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” 2 Corinthians 4:16-17
“Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy…” Acts 20:23-24
These affliction are working a far more exceeding and lasting weight of glory; trials generally work patience in you and the benefits of patience being worked in you are immeasurable:
“Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:3-4
Outwardly, it might seem like you’re being bashed but inwardly, lasting changes are happening and you are becoming even more glorious!
The word of God reveals to you the appearance of your spirit and as such focus on his revelation and choose not to consider external challenges.
