“And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”
Mark 11:22
“…whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea…” (Mark 11:23)
In showing you how to use your faith, he says speak to the challenge and be specific about your request, so you see Jesus being very simple and specific in his life and ministry- he told men who couldn’t walk to simply get up and start walking, men who were dead to simply get up or come out from the tomb, deaf ears to simply open etc. (Mark 2:11, John 5:8, Luke 7:14, Mark 7:34)
He saw the problem and simply said what he wanted as the solution- which was usually just the opposite of the problem.
He was the one who taught us how to communicate to the father:
“When you are praying, don’t say meaningless things like the gentiles do, because they think they will be heard by being so wordy.” (Matthew 6:7, ISV
And in communicating with others in life: Matthew 5:37
Same thing with that challenge and in using your faith, say something, say what you actually want- be specific, keep it simple!
