“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”

Be useful for Jesus. Be useful to God!
“Put them in mind to be ready to every good work,”Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬
Make yourself available- to be ready and busy doing what he wants you to do, he is already at work in you, so submit to his working and do his pleasure:
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬
Jesus said:
“…the night cometh, when no man can work.” John‬ ‭9‬:‭4‬
What a consciousness! He knew he wasn’t going to be on the earth forever, and so he was conscious of time- every time was precious, every time should be precious to you! You probably won’t be in that school, institution, locality and definitely you wouldn’t be on the earth forever, but while you are there and here- do the works of THE ONE WHO SENT YOU, not what people or you consider most fitting.
