“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not
cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be
filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding;”
Colossians 1:9
It is amazing that God doesn’t think his will is too
much for your comprehension and he isn’t selfish
about letting you in on it. He actually desires that you
know what his will is in every situation.
It is one thing to know something, it is another thing
to do what you know- wisdom is the application of
knowledge. You are wise when you do what you
know, you have chosen foolishness when you ignore
what you know.
God wants you to move beyond just knowing his will
to putting what you know to work.
“… filled with the knowledge of his will in ALL wis-
dom…”
The wisdom to do what you have learnt is granted
you!
“For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to
do of his good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13
God wants you FULL of knowledge; he wants you to
know his will so much, you are full of his will and you
do his will every time you express yourself.
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only,
deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22
