Halleluyah! Service this Sunday was very insightful and instructional, Pastor began by reminding us of how everyone in the world became sinners by one man’s sin and she showed us how that guaranteed that all can equally be made righteous by one man’s obedience, hence we are only instructed to obey the gospel, to believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and be made righteous thereby and to confess him as the Lord of our lives, Pastor reminded us that in confessing him as the Lord of our lives, it means we now recognise that we have a master who is watching everything we do and so the argument that there can be a Christian who keeps sinning anyhow is dead, that person’s christianity ought to be questioned, a Christian may make mistakes and as long as he is on the earth, there is forgiveness but to have a seared conscience and act like he does not have a master means he neither is a Christian nor understands what it means to be one. Pastor went on to show us in the word instructions by which we can measure our walk of righteousness, we are instructed to put away lying and speak the truth only, to not persist in anger, to never give place to the devil, to not steal but to rather work that we may have to give to those in need, to speak only wholesome and edifying words and to be kind, tenderhearted and forgiving, in doing these things, we are imitating God having received his very nature.
