“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
Galatians 5:6
If we walk in the spirit, we would not fulfill the lust of the flesh! What then are the expressions of our walking in the spirit? What is the fruit of the spirit, that when observed in our lives, we can verify that truly we are walking contrary to the flesh? He tells us:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23
When these are our expressions, then we are walking in the spirit- roughness, rudeness, unbelief, grief, impatience are not the expressions of the one who is walking in the spirit and that tough situation that seems so difficult can only be overcome through the actions of the spirit.
When instead of crying because of that bleak situation, you are rejoicing, full of joy, jumping, we can observe such an expression and conclude with all confidence that there would be a turn around, because we judge from the word of God that you are walking in the spirit and the Bible says:
“…but to be spiritually minded is life AND PEACE.” Romans 8:6
