“… who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
Esther 4:14
The Apostle Peter is brought into the presence of a reputable Roman soldier- a centurion! And finding out he was asked to come because the man wanted to hear the gospel, he didn’t try to read the room and begin the conversation with earthly discussions, he went straight to the reason for his visit and began sharing God’s word: Acts 10:34
To show how eager the Holy Ghost was, while he was still speaking, the Spirit fell on all them that heard the word:
“While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.” Acts 10:44
The Holy Ghost was sent down to preach the gospel with us:
“…them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven…” 1 Peter 1:12
and it’s obvious he has no pleasure in carnal conversations in order to make way for the urgent topic of the salvation of a man’s soul and if you are being led by him, you would be as zealous and mindful. He only ministers truth- do same;
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself…” John 16:13
