“Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt…”
Matthew 15:28
The story in the main verse, was also narrated in the book of Mark; he finishes Jesus’ statement to the woman:
“And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.” Mark 7:29
Jesus told her to go away and just believe what he said! You would have expected that he would respond like he did in the case of Jairus and his daughter:
“And Jesus went with him…” Mar 5:24
But for some reason, he thought the woman didn’t need him to follow her, he thought his information about the updated state of her daughter was all she needed- he didn’t even pray, he just informed her what had happened to the demon!
You know what? The woman believed him and left him- knowing that she might never meet him again to complain that it didn’t work, Jesus had travel to Tyre and didn’t even want anybody to know he was around:
“And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.” Mark 7:24
She could have insisted that he followed her physically, but for that woman, the information was enough. She took him at his word and she got what she desired.
Great faith insists, Great faith expresses that the word of God is enough, visions are nice but not compulsory, what God has said in his word is enough!
“Then Abraham told him, ‘If your brothers do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded, even if someone were to rise from the dead.'” Luke 16:31, TPT
God’s Word has an updated information about your health, prosperity and future, take him at his word!
