“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23
You work your faith by saying something; thinking about a change is nice but until you say something, you are yet to enact your faith to cause a change.
Jesus said “SAY UNTO this mountain”. If you want to cause a change in a certain area in your life, thinking about the change is nice but the first step to working your faith is that you SAY something and be specific- TALK TO the challenge. Talking about the challenge or talking about the the changes you would like to anyone who cares to listen is vastly different from talking to the challenge directly. Jesus mixed no words, he said “say unto this mountain”. Speak to the challenge and tell it to move; be specific about what you want.
Think about how odd it would have been to see Jesus talking to a tree, but previously he had even talked to the wind and the waves (water) and every thing he talked to responded to his word.
“Peter remembered what Jesus had said. So he said to Jesus, ‘Teacher, look at that fig tree. You said that it should die. And it has died.’” Mark 11:21, Easy English
“Jesus woke and he spoke to the wind and to the water. ‘Be quiet!’ he said. ‘Stop!’ Then the wind stopped and the water became flat again.” Mark 4:39
Before you feel odd about talking to your challenge remember the objects Jesus boldy talked to and the corresponding results and realize that when you talk to the challenge; it will have to respond!
